My name is Gabrielle Ryan & I am a Member of Professional Celebrants Association. I have been married to my husband Bryan since 1996 and we have a son & a daughter Nicolaus & Danielle.

I have spent most of my working life in the Hospitality, Airline and Service Inndustries working with and relating to people of all ages and backgrounds.
It has been a long time desire and dream of mine to become a marriage celebrant and by utilizing my vast working experience, it enables me to share my knowledge and assist you in making  your  wedding day  a special. & memorable event.

I believe in enjoying life to the fullest, and making all your life ceremonies memorable and most of all, enjoyable,  and I look forward to contributing positively toward helping you doing the same.

The Ceremony

It’s your day. Let me gently guide you through the maze that is the wedding day. I will assist you by taking the added stress out of the legalities.

There are only a few legal aspects pertaining to the actual wedding ceremony, so that allows you to have total ownership over your own ceremony, including any special requirements, inclusions., rituals, poems, readings, friends and relatives, that you may wish to include.

 

The Legalities

It is necessary for you to lodge a Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) a minimum of 1 month and 1 day prior to your wedding day, but the NOIM can be completed up to 18 months prior.

It is strongly recommended that this is done as soon as you have set the date so as to avoid disappoint, because good celebrants can be booked up to two years in advance.

To complete the NOIM you will require to bring with you the original and a photocopy of all the required documents, which will include some of the following, dependant on your personal history:

  • Birth Certificates
  • Divorce /Death /Nullity Certificates
  • Deed Poll or Change of Name Certificate
  • Current Overseas Passport
  • Court Orders
  • Minor Consent Forms
  • Citizenship Certificate
  • Statutory Declarations
  • Or any other relevant documentation
